Hole Pattern Specifications.
The Zadik Precision SRT Thumbrest is designed to be installed on the hole patterns as described above. Once your existing hole pattern and screw sized has been determined, You can order the correct thumb rest.
The Zadik Precision SRT Thumb Rest will fit the 3 hole C-MORE pattern (.750 on center) using only the FIRST and THIRD Holes with 5-40 screws. This is sufficient to securely mount our thumb rest.
If using the C_MORE 5 hole pattern you can use all 3 holes on our thumb rest, the 5 hole patern allows you to utilize the first 3 holes, the center holes or the last 3 holes with 5-40 screws. The choice is yours.
If using the TANFOLIO 4 hole pattern ( 10mm / .397 on center) The 4 hole pattern allows you to utilize the first 3 holes or the last 3 holes with 4MM x .07 screws.
Tapped Frames.
If your existing frame is untapped, you must decide which hole pattern to use, we basically suggest going with the hole pattern most used in your country of residence. We identity our thumb rest as either Domestic (United States) or International (European).
The Domestic Thumb Rest has a 3 hole pattern at .375 on center with screws sized at 5-40.
The International Thumb Rest has a 3 hole pattern at 10MM (.397) on center with screws sized at 4MM x .07.
Untapped Frames.
Most Thumb Rest hole patterns are based on either the C-MORE hole pattern or the TANFOLIO Hole pattern.
If you are in The USA (domestic) most likely your existing tapped frame has a C-MORE pattern, C-MORE has 2 basic hole patterns. Which are either 5 holes at .375 on center or 3 holes at .750 on center. The screw size used are 5-40 for both patterns.
If your are in Europe (international) most likely your existing tapped frame has a TANFOLIO hole pattern. TANFOLIO hole pattern is 4 hole at 10MM (.397) on center. The screw size used is 4MM X .07.
